These terms and conditions apply to all retail purchases made through splendette.com. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
Orders and Payment
Payments can be made through the website by credit or debit card. We also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna.
Orders are accepted and the contract between us is formed upon delivery of the goods to you. We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time up to delivery, in which case you will receive a full refund.
Once an order is placed, we cannot cancel the payment or retrospectively apply discounts or sale prices. Discounts must be applied at the time of purchase and cannot be added afterwards. Sale discounts apply only to orders placed during the specified sale period.
While we do our best to keep stock levels accurate, if an item is out of stock after your order is placed, we will ship your order without it and issue a refund for that item as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after shipping.
Shipping
Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email from splendette.com containing your order number. Please keep this safe for future reference. If your item has not arrived within 2 weeks, please contact us at hello@splendette.com and we will do our best to help.
We are unable to combine separate orders once they have been placed. If you would like to add to an existing order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@splendette.com and we will do our best to accommodate this.
Returns Policy
We want you to love your Splendette purchase. If you change your mind, unworn items with their original packaging intact can be returned within 28 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange.
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us at hello@splendette.com within 7 days of receiving your order before returning anything, so we can advise the best course of action.
Please note:
• Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Any returned earrings will be disposed of without a refund.
• We are unable to cover the cost of return postage, and do not offer refunds on any postage charges.
• Any fees incurred by us on your return will be deducted from the refunded amount.
• All returns remain your responsibility until received by us. We recommend using a tracked service.
Faulty Items
We do our very best to ensure that every Splendette item is of the highest quality. If you do encounter any issues, please contact us at hello@splendette.com and we will do our best to resolve things for you. We are happy to replace or refund faulty items. We cannot take responsibility for returned items lost in the post, so please send them using a tracked service.
Refunds will be issued as soon as possible upon receipt of the returned goods. Please allow up to 10 working days for funds to reach you, as bank processing times vary.
We allow a 1.5mm tolerance smaller or larger on bangle measurements. Accepted sizes are:
• Maiden: 5.65 to 5.95cm
• Classic: 6.35 to 6.65cm
• Duchess: 7.35 to 7.65cm
Bangles within this tolerance are not considered faulty.
International Shipments
We charge different rates for international shipping depending on your location. We are unable to pay import or customs duties on items returned from outside the UK. Please clearly mark any returned parcels as a return to avoid these charges and ensure swift passage to our premises.
Missing Items
We will always do our best to help you locate any missing items.
For UK shipments, Royal Mail will only consider a parcel missing 10 business days after the due delivery date. For a Royal Mail 48 parcel, that is 13 business days from the shipping date (just over 2.5 weeks).
For international shipments that are delayed or appear to have stopped moving, please contact us and we will raise a tracking query on your behalf.
If a shipment is showing as delivered but has not been received, we will ask for your assistance in chasing this with your local postal service, as you will have the best knowledge of your local area and delivery arrangements. We will not issue refunds or replacements until all reasonable avenues for locating the shipment have been explored.
Unacceptable Behaviour
We reserve the right to close the account of and refuse service to anyone considered to be exhibiting unacceptable behaviour or language towards our team. This includes threatening or abusive communications by any channel, including email, telephone, and social media.
Examples of unacceptable behaviour include:
• Insulting or degrading language, including inappropriate banter, innuendo, or malicious allegations.
• Any form of physical violence or threats of physical violence.
• Derogatory racist, sexist, ageist, or homophobic remarks.
• Comments relating to disability, perceived gender, religion, belief, or any other personal characteristic.
Intellectual Property
Splendette, the Splendette logo, and all jewellery designs remain the sole property of Splendette. Any reproduction is strictly forbidden. All photographs, images, and other content on this website remain the sole property of Splendette. Use of any intellectual property must be agreed in writing prior to publishing.
General Terms
These terms and conditions apply to retail purchases only. Wholesale customers are subject to separate terms.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
