Bangle Size Guide

If you’re not familiar with Splendette, you might not be sure which size bangles you need to buy so, to help with this, we’ve done this page which should answer all of your questions. If it doesn’t, let me know!!

Because all of you are amazing and different, we have three sizes of bangle- Maiden, Classic and Duchess. Each of these has a different sized wrist hole. When we talk about the 'wrist hole size' we mean the diameter of the hole that your hand goes through.

Maiden

For the smaller wristed of you out there, this bangle has a wrist hole diameter of approximately 5.8cm. You can wear a stack of maidens alone or you can use a single maiden at the bottom of a stack of regular bangles to keep them on.

Classic

Our middle sized bangle has a wrist hole diameter of 6.5cm and this is the size that most of our customers tend to be.

Duchess

If you need a bit more room in your bangle than the previous two, these are definitely for you! A wrist hole diameter of 7.5cm means there’s just a bit extra space to get in there if you need it.

If you're still not sure on your size, we recommend cutting carboard circles out with wrist hole diameters of the bangle sizes to try on. Alternatively, you can drop us a mail at hello@splendette.com to request some ready cut card bangles.

Bangle Terminology

Ok, so now we’ve covered the wrist hole sizes, we can look at the terminology you might see on the site.

When we refer to bangles as extra wide, wide, midi, narrow etc, this purely refers to the thickness (i.e. how far up your arm it goes) of the bangle.

So that you can create your perfect, unique stack, we like to create designs in different thicknesses, allowing you to go crazy and create to your heart’s content.

There's also a video here that should explain everything but please don't hesitate to drop us a mail at hello@splendette.com if you need further advice.
